Dhaka stocks surge as Trump announces ceasefire in Israel-Iran conflict
Out of all the traded issues, 309 advanced, 11 declined, and 42 remained unchanged

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed a sharp rally in early trading today (24 June) after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel.
According to international media, the 12-day conflict between the two nations is expected to come to an end following the announcement.
By 11am, the DSEX index had surged 44 points to 4,740, while the blue-chip DS30 index gained 14 points to 1,777.
Out of all the traded issues, 330 advanced, 17 declined, and 37 remained unchanged.
On Sunday (22 June), the DSEX had dropped 71 points after a US airstrike targeted an Iranian nuclear site.
However, the index rebounded sharply the following day and extended its gains in early trade today.
