BSEC slashes BO account fee by Tk300
Currently, investors are required to pay an annual maintenance fee of Tk450 for each BO account. Of this amount, broker firms receive Tk100, the Central Depository Bangladesh Limited Tk100, the BSEC Tk50, and the government Tk200.

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has decided to reduce the yearly maintenance fees of the beneficiary owners (BOs) accounts by Tk300, bringing the total fee down to Tk150.
The commission took the decision at a meeting held today (27 May), the BSEC said in a press release.
The securities regulator also said it will take legal measures to implement the revised fee structure.
