Apex Footwear recommends 50% dividend as profit falls 23% in FY25

Apex Footwear has recommended a 50% dividend for its shareholders for the fiscal year FY25, while its net profit fell by 23%.
The decision came from the board meeting held yesterday (25 September), according to the company's price sensitive statement published on its website.
The dividend comprises 25% cash and 25% stock.
To approve the dividend and the annual audited financial statement, the company will hold its annual general meeting on 26 November to secure shareholders approval.
The record date is set for 20 October.
During the last fiscal year, the company reported earnings per share of Tk8.62, down from Tk11.22 a year ago.
