DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) witnessed a moderate gain in the first one and half hour trading session on Tuesday.

In this session, DSEX rose by 4.76 points or 0.09 percent to 5,119.

Turnover of the DSE dropped by 18 percent to Tk408.24 crore during the session.

However, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) fell by 2.38 points to 14,736 till 11:30 am.

Moreover, DSE Shariah index DSES lost 0.96 points to 1,181 and blue-chip index DS30 rose 2.32 points to 1,820.

Following the investors movement 154 companies share price rose, while 92 issues fell and 103 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
