Recently, the regulator issued a warning letter to these Trading Right Entitlement Certificate (Trec) holders.

The main duty of the Trec holders is to facilitate stock transactions between buyers and sellers.

A letter issued by the BSEC said compliance of all securities related laws in future, in connection with default and contravention, must be ensured.

However, it did not mention which laws or regulations these Trec holders did not comply with.
