The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has accorded a warm reception to one of its members, Bando Design, for becoming runners-up in the Fifco World Corporate Champions Cup Football 2022.

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan handed over a crest to the captain of Bando Design Md Imranur Rahman and his team at a reception programme held at BGMEA Complex in Dhaka on November 9, said a press release.

A total of 16 teams from 16 countries, split into four groups, took part in the competition held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

Bando Design represented the Bangladesh team in the event.

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan congratulated Bando Design on their achievement, saying the feat would brighten the image of Bangladesh internationally.

He urged all to contribute from their respective positions to branding Bangladesh internationally.

Faruque Hassan said BGMEA is organising the Made in Bangladesh Week on 12-18 November 2022 to promote Bangladesh and the Ready-made Garment industry in the international arena.
