BAYLA Future Summit begins on 20 July, focusing on AI and sustainability

The Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Alliance (BAYLA) will host the two-day BAYLA Future Summit 2026 on 20-21 July at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs and young professionals to discuss the future of Bangladesh's apparel and textile sector.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, the summit, themed "Think Beyond Today", aims to promote innovation, collaboration and future-ready leadership as the apparel industry navigates global economic shifts, sustainability requirements and rapid technological change.
More than 1,500 participants are anticipated to attend, including over 500 chief executives and senior executives from various sectors. The event will feature more than 20 local and international speakers.
Sessions will cover leadership development, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0, finance and investment, IPO readiness, sustainability and ESG, policy reforms, entrepreneurship, data-driven decision-making and global sourcing trends.
A key attraction will be BAYLA Future Leaders 2026, a nationwide inter-university case competition connecting students with real-world challenges in the apparel and textile sector. Finalists will present their solutions before industry leaders during the summit.
BAYLA President Abrar Hossain Sayem said Bangladesh must build on its position as a global manufacturing hub by investing in innovation, talent and sustainable growth.
Hasin Arman Ayon, first vice-president of BAYLA and event director, said the summit aims to bring together business leaders, innovators, policymakers, academia and young talent to develop practical solutions for a future-ready apparel industry by 2030.
