Remittance inflow hits $2.69b in September, up 11.72% YoY
According to the central bank statistics, this year’s March witnessed a record high of $3.29 billion, the highest monthly remittance in the country’s history

Bangladesh received $2.69 billion in remittances in September this year, marking an 11.72% increase compared to the same month last year, according to the Bangladesh Bank data.
In August, remittance inflows stood at $2.42 billion. According to the central bank statistics, this year's March witnessed a record high of $3.29 billion, the highest monthly remittance in the country's history. The second-highest inflow was recorded in May this year, amounting to $2.96 billion.
