Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has elected Mohammad Bul Hassan FCS as its new President during the 64th Council Meeting held on October 17, 2020.

Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice President of ICSB for 2019-2020 and 2016-2018 and was the Treasurer for the 2013-2016 term.

Mohammad Bul Hassan is currently the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Siemens Bangladesh Limited, according to a press release.

During the same meeting, the Council of the Institute also elected M Naseemul Hye FCS, as the Senior Vice President. Prior to this new assignment, he was the Senior Vice President of the Institute for the 2013-2016 term and Vice President for the 2010-2013 term, it adds. 

He was the Treasurer for three terms during 2007-2010. M Naseemul Hye is serving as Senior Executive Director and Company Secretary of Bashundhara Group. He is the Trustee and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bashundhara Foundation and is also a member of the Trustee Board of Bashundhara University.

Salim Ahmed FCS has been elected as the Vice President of the Institute. Prior to this new assignment, he was the Treasurer of the Institute for the 2019-2020 term.

Ahmed was the Council Member of ICSB for the 2016-2019 term. He is serving as Company Secretary, Eastern Housing Limited, according to the release.   

At the same meeting, the Council also appointed Md Shafiqul Alam ACS, as the Treasurer of the Institute. He is currently the Principal and CEO, Shafiqul Alam & Co, Chartered Accountants, Sponsor Director, Bizz Solutions Limited, Finance Advisor, Super Star Group and President of CFO Foundation of Bangladesh, reads the release.
