Govt to allow exporting rawhide from this year

A five-member special committee was formed and asked to submit a report in next seven days about the necessary steps needed in this regard

The government will allow the tanners to export rawhide starting from the next Eid-ul-Adha to prevent the disarray around it, said the Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun.

Speaking at a press briefing at his Ministry, Nurul Majid also said that the provisions regarding the export law of rawhide will be amended, if required.  

However, a five-member special committee, led by an additional secretary, was formed and asked to submit a report in next seven days about the necessary steps needed in this regard.
