BSCIC suspends 3-month service charge amid Covid-19 outbreak

The issued order will be effective as soon as possible

Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) has suspended it's 3-month service charge to save the sector from the wrath of the present economic woes, due to the novel coronavirus.

BSCIC Chairman Md Mustaq Hasan issued the order, which will be effective soon, said a BSCIC press release today.

Earlier, BSCIC Industry Owners' Association has sought special package to save the sector. Some 76 BSCIC industrial areas in Bangladesh remain closed due to coronavirus pandemic situation.
