BIHA holds meeting with finance minister

Members of Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA) held a meeting with Finance Minister AHM Mustsafa Kamal, MP at his office in the capital yesterday.  

In a meeting, they discussed various matters relating to hospitality and tourism industry of the country such as cash incentive for earning foreign currency like other industries of the country, reduction of duty on liquor like neighbouring countries, reduction of supplementary duty and  value added tax for smooth running and flourishing of hospitality and tourism in the country. 

The team also explained importance on reducing duty and taxes that would help to increase foreign tourists and foreign currency earning, at the same time will promote hospitality and tourism in the country.
