A total 10 subscribers of Akash won Samsumg smart television by participating in the Akash Digital Photo Contest that was organised to celebrate the 2nd year of journey of the direct-to-home (DTH) service provider in the country.

To celebrate the occasion, the company organised an event at the company's headquarters in Dhaka, said a media statement issued by Beximco Communications Ltd on Tuesday.

The winners of the contest are Nipa Chowdhury from Habiganj, Faizul Kabir Sajibfrom Sylhet, Azad Rahman from Mymensingh, Prosanjit Kumar from Rajbari, Sumita Bhattacharjee from Dhaka, Shameem Kawsar Badhan from Jashore, Md Nurunnabi from Gazipur and Seema Roy from Barishal.

Prizes of these winners were sent to their respective addresses by the organiser.

Two other winners— Imran Ahmed Khan from Madhaya Badda of Dhaka and Sumaya Khan Asha from Demra visited the Akash headquarters and received their prizes from officials of the Beximco Communications.

Zia Hasan Khan Zia, head of business planning and supply chain of Beximco Communications Limited; Shah Mohammad Maksudul Gani, head of sales and distribution; and Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury, head of marketing and business development; were present on the occasion.

The country's only legal DTH (direct-to-home) service provider Akash has extended its services across 64 districts of the country to provide customers with high-quality television connections.
