Wheelchair cricket vice captain honoured with global award

The International Icon Award reflects Ripon's hard work, sportsmanship, and his commitment to creating opportunities for persons with disabilities in Bangladesh and beyond.
Just days earlier, Ripon was also recognised with the National Influence Awards 2025, organised by Star Bangladesh, which honours extraordinary individuals contributing to the country's sporting landscape.
In a statement, the Bangladesh Wheelchair Cricket Association said Ripon's achievements would remain a shining example for future generations and significantly boost the confidence of athletes with disabilities in their pursuit of excellence.
