We aim to spark a cultural revolution : NU VC

Marking Pahela Baishakh 1432, the National University of Bangladesh held a festive Boishakhi Ananda Shobhajatra (New Year Procession) and cultural event at its Gazipur campus.
Speaking at the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr A S M Amanullah said, "The culture of the Bengali nation spans thousands of years. It is a rich and diverse heritage, and we aim to present it to the world. With the strength of the National University and its network of over 2,500 affiliated colleges, we aspire to drive a cultural revolution rooted in the development of Bengali and Bangladeshi traditions."
He reflected on recent national changes, "For the past 15 to 16 years, we have endured a stifling atmosphere, from which we emerged through the mass uprising of July–August. Now, we want to carry that spirit of freedom forward."

My colleagues and I are placing a strong emphasis on delivering quality education, which includes implementing monitoring and academic audits across affiliated colleges. In doing so, we contribute to building a happy, prosperous, and inclusive Bangladesh that embraces Bengali and Bangladeshi identities."
