vivo launches ultra-slim V50 Lite in Bangladesh

Global smartphone brand vivo has officially launched its latest model- the vivo V50 Lite in Bangladesh, introducing a powerful yet ultra-slim device at a star-studded event in Dhaka. The launch ceremony was graced by singer and actor Tahsan Rahman Khan, who is also the brand ambassador of vivo in Bangladesh.

The V50 Lite strikes a balance between elegant design and powerful performance. Weighing just 196g and measuring only 7.79mm thick, the device features a massive 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery, bringing long-lasting power without adding bulk. With 90W FlashCharge support and reverse charging capability, the V50 Lite promises extended usage and quick top-ups, while maintaining over 80% battery health even after five years of use.

Wrapped in a high-gloss metal frame, the phone sports a 6.77-inch FHD+ 2.5D P-OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. The Ultra Clear Sunlight Display delivers 1,800 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a fluid and immersive viewing experience, with SGS-certified low blue light protection for added eye comfort.

The device is available in two bold colour variants — Titanium Gold, inspired by desert twilight, and Phantom Black, evoking a sleek, sophisticated look.

Built to withstand daily wear and tear, the V50 Lite features military-grade durability, Shield Glass with 20% more impact resistance, 5-star drop protection, and an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. Powered by the Snapdragon 685 processor, the phone ensures a smooth user experience across multitasking, apps, and games.

Photography features include a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera equipped with Aura Light Portrait technology for studio-grade portraits, and a 32MP front camera for clear selfies, even in low-light conditions.

Speaking at the event, David Lee, Marketing Director of vivo Bangladesh, said, "It is truly exciting to witness the incredible energy and passion for innovation in Bangladesh. At vivo, we always aim to deliver premium technology and elegant design at a price that makes sense for our users. The V50 Lite is a perfect example of that balance — packed with powerful features, stunning design, and a camera experience that brings your creativity to life – slimmer but stronger."

The vivo V50 Lite will be available in two storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage (with 8GB extended RAM) priced at Tk. 29,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage — priced at Tk. 32,999

The smartphone will be available at authorised retailers across the country very soon.
