Team Denim Revive crowned Hult Prize national champion
Following a day of intense competition and groundbreaking social enterprise pitches, Team Denim Revive from BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology secured the national champion title at Ispahani Presents Hult Prize Bangladesh Nationals 2026.
The event, co-sponsored by Trust Bank PLC, was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology on Friday (8 May).
The national summit was organised by Hult Prize at KUET and Spectrum, a professional skill development club of KUET.
Team Denim Revive distinguished itself by outperforming 60 elite university teams from across the country.
After navigating rigorous preliminary rounds and securing a place in the top eight finals, the team's winning pitch earned it a golden ticket to the Hult Prize Digital Incubator, where it will represent Bangladesh on the global stage.
Leadership and oversight
The success of the national summit was underpinned by a dedicated leadership team comprising Chief Organiser ASM Jubayer Mufid, Chief of Staff Nahiyan Emdad Lamim and Chief of Operations Moshiur Rahman Shams.
Guidance and oversight at the national level were provided by Hult Prize Bangladesh National Coordinator Md Aminul Islam and National Community Coordinator Md Abid Shaharia.

The event was made possible through the support of Ispahani Group as the title sponsor and Trust Bank PLC as the co-sponsor.
Both organisations continue to support youth innovation and social entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.
KUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Mashud attended the summit as the chief guest and delivered words of inspiration to the future leaders and changemakers.
A total of 16 distinguished judges were present to listen to the pitches and select one champion team at the end of the day.

As Team Denim Revive transitions into the Hult Prize Digital Incubator, the team will receive world-class mentorship, training and resources essential for scaling its social enterprise.
