Special health centre launched for Hajj pilgrims at Dhaka Airport
United Medical College Hospital has set up a special healthcare centre at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka to support hajj pilgrims in completing their pilgrimage safely and in good health.
The initiative has been taken by United Medical College Hospital, the flagship institution of United Healthcare, located on Madani Avenue on the 100 Feet Road. Pilgrims will be able to receive the service directly from the airport premises.
At the health centre, hajj pilgrims will receive free primary healthcare and necessary medicines. They will also have the opportunity to check their physical condition before boarding their flights, which the hospital said would play an important role in ensuring safer and more comfortable travel.
The healthcare centre will remain open round the clock from the first hajj flight on 18 April until the final flight. Pilgrims will be able to receive medical assistance at any time to meet last-minute health needs before departure.
The hospital said the initiative reflects its commitment to delivering quality healthcare to people's doorsteps and making health services more accessible.
