Southeast Bank opens relocated branch to enhance customer service
Southeast Bank PLC has relocated its Motijheel Branch (Islamic Banking) to a larger, upgraded premises in Purana Paltan, Dhaka, aiming to deliver enhanced customer experience and state-of-the-art banking solutions.
The branch officially opened on Sunday, 7 June 2026, at DR Tower (1st Floor), 65/2/2, Box Culvert Road, Purana Paltan, Motijheel, Dhaka-1000.
MA Kashem, Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, inaugurated the new premises as chief guest.

Board members Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engineer Khandker Badrul Hassan, and Md Rafiqul Islam, nominee of Asia Insurance PLC, attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, MA Kashem said, "Providing customers with modern, secure and efficient banking services remains our foremost priority. The relocation of the Motijheel Branch (Islamic Banking) reflects our commitment to delivering an improved banking experience through advanced digital Islamic banking solutions. Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO, was present as special guest.
Additional Managing Directors Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and Md Mahbub Alam also attended.
Mahmudul Hasan, Head of Branch, presided over the ceremony.

The relocated branch will offer a full suite of technology-driven, Shari'ah-compliant Islamic banking services.
