Six-day ‘Asian City Autumn Festival’ kicks off in Dhaka

A six-day Asian City Autumn Festival has begun at Asian City, a large-scale modern residential project being developed by Asian Group on 1,000 acres of land in Dhaka's Kawla area—opposite Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and adjacent to the Hajj Camp.
The project spans wards 48 and 49 of Dhaka North City Corporation. According to the company, residential plots of three, five, and ten kathas are currently available for immediate home construction. The project also includes designated spaces for schools, colleges, madrasas, and a university to ensure a complete educational ecosystem.
Asian Group officials said the entire project is expected to be completed by 2027. With land prices in Dhaka continuing to rise, the company aims to offer affordable and well-planned housing for people from all walks of life.
Md Saiful Islam, Deputy Managing Director of Asian Group, said, "We want to build a housing project where everyone can fulfil their dream of owning a home within their means. Asian City is moving forward with that goal."
To mark the festival, customers can enjoy discounts of up to 70% on plot purchases. The event also features traditional horse carriage rides around the project site, a grand kite festival, and a live cooking competition. The festival will continue until 11 October.
