Shukhee provides free healthcare to flood-affected people in Sitakunda
Grameen HealthTech's digital healthcare platform Shukhee provided free medical consultations and essential medicines to flood-affected and local residents at a day-long medical camp in Baharpur, Sitakunda, on Saturday, 8 August 2026.
The camp was organised in the aftermath of the recent floods to provide immediate healthcare support to affected communities, according to a press release.
The initiative was organised by Mohsin Fatema Siddiqui Samaj Kalyan Sangstha (MFSS) in collaboration with Shukhee, with Leo Club of Chittagong Sitakunda providing overall support.

Held from 10am to 5pm, the camp provided residents with consultations from doctors and free essential medicines. The programme was presided over by MFSS President Kawsar Ahmed Sarowari. Executive Director Shamima Nasrin and Advisor Mohin Uddin of MFSS also attended the event as chief guests, among others.
Representing Shukhee online were Dr Hossain Md Al Amin, Chief of Research, Analytics and Customer Experience, along with members of his team.
Shukhee's support extends beyond the one-day medical camp through its "Connected Care" initiative. The programme aims to keep patients connected to healthcare services during the post-flood period through online medical consultations, medicine support, referrals and follow-up care as required.
The initiative seeks to combine digital technology with compassionate healthcare, ensuring that patients remain connected to necessary medical support from their initial consultation through ongoing care.
In disaster situations such as floods, when access to conventional healthcare services can become difficult, Shukhee's approach aims to provide both immediate medical assistance and continued access to healthcare through technology.
