Sheraton Dhaka launches Coastal Carnival seafood festival with bKash
 
Seafood lovers in Dhaka can experience diverse coastal flavors at Coastal Carnival, a 10-day seafood festival launched by Sheraton Dhaka in partnership with bKash Limited.
The festival runs from July 10 to 19 at The Garden Kitchen restaurant, located on the 14th floor of Sheraton Dhaka, Banani.
Dignitaries, including H E Ali Thunayan Abdul Wahab Hamadah, Ambassador of Kuwait to Bangladesh, and H.E. Shiuneen Rasheed, High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Bangladesh, attended the inaugural ceremony on July 10. Senior representatives from bKash, FirstTrip, Orange Club, Sheraton Dhaka, and food bloggers also joined the event.
Expatriate chefs Rimoun Obaid and Sait Dursun collaborate with local culinary talents Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Md. Allama Iqbal to curate the menu. Guests can enjoy specialties such as Seafood Paella Valenciana, Smoked Hilsha, Seafood Jambalaya Rice, Tuna and Salmon Teriyaki, Chitol Fish Kofta, Lobster Bisque, Ilish Bharta, and Beetroot Salmon Gravlax. A live counter offers premium seafood, including Norwegian salmon, octopus, king prawns, tuna, and lobsters.
Seven food stations offer seafood, meats such as Greek Lamb Shank and Mutton Rogan Josh, and desserts including Baklava, Turkish Rawani, Medovik, Kunafa, and Matcha Mousse Cake.
