Sheltech completes 38 years with diversified business growth
Sheltech (Pvt.) Ltd is celebrating its 38th anniversary, marking nearly four decades of involvement in Bangladesh's real estate sector.
Founded in 1988 by the late Dr Toufiq M Seraj and Engineer Kutubuddin Ahmed, the company has grown under the leadership of Chairman Kutubuddin Ahmed and Managing Director Tanvir Ahmed from a real estate developer into a diversified local conglomerate with multiple affiliated concerns.
Since its inception, Sheltech has played a significant role in shaping Dhaka's urban landscape, delivering more than 4,650 residential and commercial units on schedule. The company has also expanded its footprint to Chattogram through a range of planned developments.
Sheltech said it has earned the confidence of clients and stakeholders through its focus on construction quality, timely project completion and customer satisfaction. The company added that this commitment has helped it build a strong reputation in the country's real estate sector.
Over the years, Sheltech has expanded beyond real estate into ceramics, consultancy services, financial and commercial services, property management, cargo transport, agro industries, SPC poles, boutique hotels, brokerage houses and other businesses.
The company said Sheltech and its affiliated concerns have received national and international awards in recognition of their contribution to public welfare. It also said the group continues to play a role in employment generation and broader economic development in Bangladesh.
As it marks the milestone, Sheltech said it remains focused on future growth while continuing its mission to deliver value-driven developments for clients and communities.
To mark the anniversary, a milad mahfil was held on 12 March at the Dr Toufiq M Seraj Lounge of Sheltech Tower, 60 Sheikh Russel Square, West Panthapath. Speaking at the event, Kutubuddin Ahmed thanked all those who had supported the company throughout its journey.
The programme was attended by officials of Sheltech and representatives of its affiliated concerns.
