Shanta Equity to manage proposed IPOs of two DBL Group companies
DBL Group has named Shanta Equity Limited as the issue manager for the proposed initial public offerings of two of its subsidiaries, aiming to broaden its presence in the capital market.
Founded in 1991, DBL Group operates across a diverse range of sectors, including garments, spinning, knitting, dyeing, printing, washing, garment accessories, packaging, ceramic tiles, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, sewing thread, yarn, dredging, lifestyle, aviation, and digital transformation services.
The group currently has a capital market presence through Matin Spinning Mills PLC, listed in 2014.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mohammed Abdur Rahim, Vice-Chairman of DBL Group, said public listing would enable investors to participate in the next phase of growth for the group's profitable subsidiaries.
He added that the proposed listings would reinforce the group's commitment to transparency, robust governance, and sustainable value creation.
Rubayet-E-Ferdous, Chief Executive Officer of Shanta Equity Limited, stated that the company is pleased to partner with DBL Group in facilitating the proposed initial public offerings.

Shanta Equity Limited is a merchant bank offering issue management, corporate advisory, and portfolio management services. It is a capital market concern of Shanta Holdings.
