Senior judge Abdur Rahman Sardar appointed BTRC Commissioner
Senior District and Sessions Judge Abdur Rahman Sardar has been appointed as Commissioner of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
Over the course of his judicial career, he served as Senior District and Sessions Judge and Chief Judicial Magistrate in various districts of the country. He also held positions as judge at the Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal and the Customs, Excise and VAT Appellate Tribunal.
Prior to his retirement, he served as Secretary of the Bangladesh Bar Council. Following retirement, he was enrolled as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
