Pubali Bank donates bus to Sylhet Agricultural University

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank PLC has donated a bus to Sylhet Agricultural University.
Mohammad Ali, Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank PLC, handed over the key to Professor Dr Md Alimul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Sylhet Agricultural University, at a handover ceremony held at the university auditorium.
Professor Dr ATM Mahbub-e-Elahi, Treasurer; Professor Dr Mohammad Samiul Ahsan Talucder, Student Adviser; Professor Dr Jasim Uddin Ahmed, Proctor; and Chowdhury Md Shofiul Hassan, General Manager of Sylhet Principal Office of Pubali Bank, were present as special guests. The event was presided over by Professor Dr Sultan Ahmed, Director of Transport at Sylhet Agricultural University.
Heads of Pubali Bank's Sylhet West, Sylhet East, Moulvibazar, and Habiganj regions—Muhammed Moshahidullah, Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury, Md Moshfiqur Rahman, and Abu Hasan Mohammad Kamruzzaman respectively—also attended the programme along with faculty members, officials, and students of SAU, and senior officials of the bank.
Earlier in the day, Pubali Bank MD and CEO Mohammad Ali inaugurated the bank's new booth on campus and participated in a tree planting initiative.
In his remarks, Mohammad Ali said, "Pubali Bank is not only a profit-oriented institution—it carries a sense of social responsibility. As part of that commitment, we have donated this bus to support the transportation needs of the students at Sylhet Agricultural University. Such initiatives will continue."
Professor Dr Md Alimul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of SAU, expressed appreciation for the bank's contribution and praised its commitment to supporting education and the community.
