Prime Bank PLC has signed two participation agreements with Bangladesh Bank to facilitate low-cost financing for green factory buildings, green industries, and information and communication technology (ICT) projects.
The agreements make Prime Bank a participating financial institution under the Refinance Scheme for Green Factory Building and Green Industry and the Refinance Scheme for Development of ICT Sector, according to the press release.

By joining the schemes, the bank aims to help entrepreneurs adopt greener industrial practices, develop environmentally sustainable infrastructure and advance technology-driven solutions.
The bank said its participation also reflects its commitment to working with Bangladesh Bank to promote sustainable investment and expand access to financing for emerging sectors of the economy.
Through these initiatives, Prime Bank aims to help build a more resilient, technology-enabled economy better prepared for future challenges.
