Pragati Insurance holds 341st board meeting in Dhaka
Pragati Insurance PLC held its 341st Board of Directors meeting at its head office in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, on 12 April 2026, focusing on key company matters.
Syed M Altaf Hussain, Chairman, presided over the session.
Directors in attendance included Alhaj Khalilur Rahman, Mohammed Abdul Awwal, Md Syedur Rahman, Nasir Latif, Mohammed Abdul Malek, ASM Mohiuddin Monem, Md Mushfiqur Rahman, Nahreen Yeahia, Tajwar Mohammad Awwal, Syed Mohammad Jan, and Farida Akther. Independent Director Mahbub Anam was also present.

Other attendees included Adviser Md Rezaul Karim. The CEO was Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur, ACII (UK). Also present were the Deputy Managing Director (Administration), Major (Retd) Sadat Md Musa; the CFO, Amar Krishna Shil, FCMA; the Head of Internal Audit, Md Nasir Uddin; and the Company Secretary, Mohammad Jafar Ali, FCS.
The board, utilising its digital documentation platform, reviewed the audited financial statements for 2025 and recommended a 27 per cent cash dividend and a 3 per cent stock dividend for shareholders.
