NRBC Bank holds Strategic Business Conference 2025

NRBC Bank PLC successfully held its Strategic Business Conference 2025 on Saturday at a prominent hotel in Dhaka.

The day-long event was inaugurated by Md Ali Hossain Prodhania, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as the Chief Guest. Dr Md Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, chaired the conference.

Also present were Independent Directors Md Abul Bashar, Md Nurul Haque, Md Anwar Hossain, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and Muhammad Emdad Ullah, FCA, Chairman of the Audit Committee, who provided strategic direction and guidance during the sessions.

Held under the theme "Together Towards Excellence", the conference brought together the bank's senior leadership, including Deputy Managing Directors, Heads of Divisions, Regional Heads, and Managers from all branches and sub-branches.

In his keynote address, Chairman Md Ali Hossain Prodhania reaffirmed the Board's commitment to establishing corporate governance and regulatory compliance across all levels of the bank. He highlighted the importance of safeguarding customer deposits and promoting sustainable growth through strategic investments in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

"Ensuring simplicity, accessibility and integrity in service delivery is fundamental to our business strategy," he stated.

Managing Director Dr Touhidul Alam Khan reiterated the bank's focus on compliance and operational excellence. "The directives and objectives set by the Board are to be implemented with full accountability," he said. "With a strong nationwide presence, NRBC Bank is well-positioned to deliver value with transparency and resilience."

The conference agenda featured comprehensive reviews of performance, operational challenges and forward-looking strategies. The event concluded with the recognition of the top nine performing managers, celebrating excellence and motivating teams to achieve new milestones in the coming years.
