MTB signs cash management agreement with smc enterprise
Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and SMC Enterprise Ltd have signed an agreement for cash management services at a simple signing ceremony held recently at MTB Centre, the bank's corporate head office in Gulshan-1, Dhaka.
Under the agreement, SMC Enterprise Ltd. will be able to process all types of financial transactions seamlessly through MTB's corporate banking platform, MTB eBank. The solution will enable users to approve transactions securely using biometric authentication via the MTB eBank mobile application.
The agreement documents were exchanged by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and chief executive officer of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, and Sayef Uddin Nasir, managing director of SMC Enterprise Ltd., on behalf of their respective organisations.

Senior officials from both organisations attended the ceremony. From MTB, Mohammad Mamun Faruk, divisional head, wholesale banking division; Eva Rahman, unit head, wholesale banking division-1; Sanjib Kumar Dey, head of SME and agri banking division; Md Abu Bokar Siddik, head of card division; and Mohammad Ashik Iqbal Khan, divisional head, cash management and transaction banking, were present.
Representing SMC Enterprise Ltd. were Abul Bashir Khan, chief financial officer, and Mohammad Tanvir Hossain, deputy general manager, finance and accounts, along with other senior officials.
Through this partnership, MTB aims to further strengthen its cash management and transaction banking services by offering digital, secure and efficient solutions to its corporate clients.
