MTB leads student banking conference in Narayanganj
Mutual Trust Bank PLC, in collaboration with 41 other scheduled banks, recently organised the "Student Banking Conference 2026' in Narayanganj, aiming to encourage financial literacy and promote savings customs among students.
Md Ali Hossain, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank's Financial Inclusion Department, served as the chief guest, while Nisat Afroz Binny, Joint Director of the department, served as the special guest.
Md Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, chaired the programme.
The conference drew approximately 450 participants, including students, teachers, and representatives from various banks operating in Narayanganj.
The event commenced with a vibrant rally that proceeded through the surrounding areas before arriving at the main venue.
Students and teachers later shared their perspectives and experiences.
An interactive quiz session engaged students in a lively and educational manner.
