MGI FMCG holds annual sales conference in Cox’s Bazar
The annual sales conference of the FMCG Division of Meghna Group of Industries was held recently with sales officials from all levels in attendance.
The conference was organised in two phases at the Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa in Cox's Bazar, bringing together around 1,100 sales officials and representatives from 10 sales lines of the FMCG Division.
Held under the theme "Together We Rise", the conference focused on strengthening teamwork and collective commitment to achieving future business targets in the coming years.
Chairman and Managing Director of Meghna Group of Industries Mostafa Kamal joined the conference virtually as the chief guest, while Director Tahmina Mostafa attended as the special guest.
In his remarks, Mostafa Kamal said, "We still have vast opportunities ahead of us. As the country's socio-economic conditions have improved, people's standard of living has also improved. Therefore, we aim to continue producing high-quality and innovative consumer goods and ensure they are easily accessible to people. This requires teamwork and collective effort. If we move forward together with the same goal, no challenge will stop us."
In her remarks, Tahmina Mostafa said, "Factory, supply chain, finance, brand, operations, and above all, sales leaders – everyone is a part of the FMCG family. Sales is not just a department; it is a shared commitment for everyone." She urged all concerned to work with a strong sense of responsibility and reiterated the company's commitment to maintaining the strong market position of Fresh, No. 1 and Actifit in 2026 through discipline, hard work and dedication.
Chief Accounts Officer Md Rahmotullah Khondoker, Chief Human Resources Officer Atiq uz Zaman Khan, Senior General Manager and Head of Accounts SM Muzibur Rahman, Senior General Manager (Brand) Kazi Md Mohiuddin, SBU Head Quazi Touhiduzzaman, along with sales line heads, factory heads and officials from other departments, were also present.
The conference featured discussions on strategic planning and execution to achieve future targets. Team-building activities were held alongside the sessions, while Sales Champion, Sales Hero and Long Service Awards were presented. Each phase of the conference also included cultural performances by renowned artists.
