Meghna Bank PLC holds annual business conference in Dhaka
The Annual Business Conference of Meghna Bank PLC was held on 20 January 2026 at a renowned hotel in Dhaka.
The conference was attended by Uzma Chowdhury, the bank's Chairperson, as the chief guest. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Managing Director of Meghna Bank PLC, presided over the event.
Among the key participants was Habibur Rahman, Independent Director and member of the Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee.
Senior officials of the bank also attended the conference, including Additional Managing Director Md Sadiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director Momtazul Karim N Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer Sajib Kumar Saha, Chief Risk Officer IQM Abdul Jalil, and Head of Operations Tanvir Shams, along with members of the senior management team, all branch and sub-branch managers, and division and department heads.
The programme was hosted by Rashedul Alam, Head of the Human Resources Division.
During the conference, the bank officially unveiled its budget for the year and congratulated employees on its performance in the previous year. Meghna Bank PLC reaffirmed its commitment to its strategic vision for 2026, with a strong focus on digital transformation, sustainability, regulatory compliance and long-term growth.
