Md. Jabed Ali honoured with National Influence Awards 2025

Cricket-based news outlet BDCricTime has added another trophy to its cabinet, claiming the prestigious National Influence Award. Founder and Editor-in-Chief Md. Jabed Ali received the award on 12 September, representing the platform he built from the ground up.
The National Influence Award 2025 recognised BDCricTime in the journalism category, celebrating its contribution to sports journalism in Bangladesh and beyond borders. The gala event was hosted by Star Bangladesh Media, with ATN Bangla.
The award ceremony was held at a four-star hotel in Malibagh, Dhaka. In the journalism segment, the accolade was presented to Md. Jabed Ali by filmmaker, producer, writer, and screenwriter Chhotku Ahmed, along with celebrated actress Notun.
This latest honour marks the third major recognition for BDCricTime on its journey of excellence. Earlier, BDCricTime secured the BASIS National ICT Award and was named first runner-up in the media and entertainment category at the BASIS ICT Awards 2019. Also recently, Md. Jabed Ali himself was lauded in Malaysia, receiving the Commonwealth Business Excellence Award as Best Entrepreneur.
