Mayfair showcases jute blazer and diversified jute goods at national fair
Mayfair Stylewear, a second-generation jute trading company, is participating in the Jute and Diversified Products Fair 2026 for the sixth consecutive year.
The nine-day national exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, is being held under the framework of the Jute Diversification Promotion Act 2017, the company said. At the fair, Mayfair Stylewear is showcasing traditional jute items, as well as a range of diversified jute products.
The company said it has developed an outsourcing network and manufacturing support system to serve both local and international buyers from Bangladesh. It added that it was recognised as the most innovative brand for introducing the jute blazer, which it described as a niche product in the country's diversified jute products segment.
During the opening ceremony, Bilkis Jahan Rimi, Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, and Jahid Hossain, Managing Director of JDPC, visited the Mayfair Stylewear stall, the press release said.
Mayfair Stylewear invited customers, industry stakeholders, and international visitors to attend the exhibition at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka.
