Marks Active School Genius competition holds grand finale
The grand finale of the "Marks Active School Genius" competition, organised by Marks Active School—an initiative of Abul Khair Group—in collaboration with 10 Minute School, was held recently.
Champions from each category received the Champions Trophy along with a scholarship of Tk150,000. First runners-up were awarded trophies and scholarships worth Tk100,000, while second runners-up received trophies and Tk50,000 in scholarships. Students securing positions from fourth to tenth in each category received medals and scholarships of Tk25,000 each. Through the competition, Abul Khair Group awarded nearly Tk15 lakh in scholarships to top-performing students nationwide.
The competition began online in September 2025 and attracted participation from more than 100,000 students across the country. Following multiple competitive rounds, 150 students qualified for the grand finale across three categories: Junior (grades 5–6), Intermediate (grades 7–8), and Senior (grades 9–10).
The final round assessed participants' knowledge and skills in Bangla, English, ICT, artificial intelligence, fine arts, and IQ, featuring students from various regions of the country.
In the Junior category, Sadat Sharafat Hossain Chowdhury of BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka, secured first place, followed by Bayezid Islam of Kushtia Police Lines School and College in second place, and Md Nabeeh Hossain of St Joseph Higher Secondary School in third place.
In the Intermediate category, Titas Chowdhury of Milestone College emerged as champion, while Mahir Daiyan of Dhaka Residential Model College and Jawwad Chowdhury of Rangpur Zilla School secured second and third positions, respectively.
In the Senior category, Ammar Ibnu Shamim of University Laboratory School and College won first place. Md Ridwanul Islam Riad of Tangail Police Lines Adarsha High School secured second place, while Asif Mahmud of Government Science High School finished third.
The grand finale was hosted by Ayman Sadiq, Founder and CEO, 10 Minute School. Awards were presented to the winners by Jamal Bhuiyan, captain, Bangladesh national football team, and Ayman Sadiq.
The event also marked the official launch of "Marks Active School Fortified Instant Milk", formulated with additional vitamins and minerals to support the nutritional needs of school-going students.
Organisers said the initiative has played a significant role in encouraging talented students, boosting their confidence, and expanding their knowledge. They also expressed their commitment to continuing similar initiatives in the future to inspire the next generation of learners.
