Khaas Food trains employees on consumer rights, customer service
Khaas Food Limited has organised a day-long training programme on the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, and customer service best practices as part of an initiative to strengthen consumer confidence and improve the quality of its products and services.
Officials from the National Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection conducted the training and discussion session at the company's headquarters in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, on Wednesday (22 July).
The programme was led by Bikash Chandra Das, Deputy Director for Training and Public Awareness; Md Abdul Jabbar Mondal, Assistant Director for Metro-1; and Tahmina Begum, Assistant Director for Training.
Habibul Mostafa, Managing Director of Khaas Food Limited, attended the event alongside officers and employees from different departments of the company.
Through real-life case studies, interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions, participants gained practical knowledge of consumer rights, food safety, complaint management and quality customer service.
During the training, Tahmina Begum explained key provisions of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009, highlighting consumer rights, legal enforcement mechanisms and the responsibilities of business organisations.
Md Abdul Jabbar Mondal emphasised that ethical practices, transparency and professional conduct were essential to achieving customer satisfaction.
He encouraged businesses to fulfil their legal and ethical obligations while strengthening their customer complaint management systems.
Bikash Chandra Das commended Khaas Food for organising the initiative and said product quality and consumer satisfaction formed the foundation of every successful brand.
