Janata Bank holds asset-liability management committee meeting

Janata Bank PLC held a meeting of its Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) at its head office, chaired by Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman. The meeting, held on Monday, 24 March, was attended by Deputy Managing Directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Fayez Alam, and Md Nurul Alam FCMA, FCA (CFO), along with relevant General Managers and Deputy General Managers.

In his opening remarks, Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman provided strategic directives in line with the bank's financial position. He emphasised the importance of increasing auto challan collection, boosting foreign remittance inflow, enhancing low-interest deposits, recovering and reducing classified loans, and strengthening the collection of written-off loans.

The meeting focused on key financial strategies to enhance the bank's stability and growth.
