ISHO’s new label Fico earns global acclaim at Milan Design Week

Fico, the new global-facing brand from Bangladesh's leading design house ISHO, made a striking international debut at this year's Milan Design Week, earning accolades from prestigious publications including Forbes, Architectural Digest, and Dezeen.
As ISHO's high-end furniture label, Fico showcased a distinctive collection of sculptural pieces inspired by Mediterranean aesthetics and crafted using ancient techniques. The designs, grounded in the philosophy of "artful living", fused old-world textures with modern form—earning the brand a spot among the top must-see exhibitions of the week.

The showcase was more than a visual experience; it was a cultural statement. Rayana Hossain, founder of ISHO and Fico, delivered a thought-provoking talk titled "Design as a Catalyst for Social Change," where she explored how design can serve as a bridge between cultures and support creative economies in the Global South.
Fico's debut installation was met with widespread international attention, reflecting a growing interest in contemporary design from South Asia. With its Milan launch, Fico has firmly positioned itself on the global stage—where craftsmanship meets cultural storytelling.
