Impact Hub and Metlife support 14 women entrepreneurs with disabilities
Impact Hub, in partnership with MetLife Foundation, is supporting 14 women entrepreneurs with disabilities through the "Building Entrepreneurial Access Model" (BEAM) programme.
The initiative equips participants with essential tools, resources, and confidence to operate their businesses effectively. As part of the programme, the entrepreneurs received one-to-one mentorship and expert masterclasses on digital communication, financial management, and inclusive business practices. These sessions were designed to help participants overcome structural barriers and build sustainable, impactful ventures.
Entrepreneurs from different parts of the country took part in the six-month programme, which included a three-day residential boot camp focused on leadership, business planning, and peer learning. Three community events were also organised to showcase their products and services, enabling them to network with both public and private sector stakeholders. To further support their business continuity, each participant received a monthly stipend for six months.
The initiative is part of MetLife Foundation's ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering underserved communities in Bangladesh.
