IFIC Bank organises blood donation drive, bringing hope to children with Thalassemia

IFIC Bank has organised a day-long blood donation campaign to support children suffering from thalassemia.

The initiative, organised in collaboration with the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, was held at the Multipurpose Hall of the IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan on May 22, 2025.
Mr Syed Mansur Mustafa, Managing Director of IFIC Bank, formally inaugurated the program. In his speech, he expressed keen interest in organising similar blood donation drives on a larger scale to support the broader community. 

Professor Dr Syeda Masooma Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation from IFIC Bank; Mr Monitur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Information Officer; Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of Branch Business; Mr K A R M Mostofa Kamal, Deputy Managing Director and Chief of HR and Logistics; and other senior officials from both organisations were also present at the event. 

Employees from different departments of IFIC Bank actively participated in the blood donation event. The blood collected will support the treatment of children suffering from thalassemia.
