HONOR launches locally produced X5c in Bangladesh
HONOR has launched its second locally produced smartphone, the HONOR X5c, in the Bangladeshi market, targeting everyday users with a focus on durability, performance and affordability.
The smartphone is now available nationwide in two colour variants – Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan.
Designed for long-term use, the HONOR X5c features anti-ageing durability technology, which the company says helps maintain peak performance for up to four years. According to laboratory test results shared by HONOR, the device's battery retains more than 87 per cent of its capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles, ensuring reliable day-to-day use.
The smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel AI main camera, a MediaTek Helio G81 processor and a 90Hz HONOR FullView Display. It comes with 4GB of RAM, expandable up to 8GB through HONOR RAM Turbo technology, along with 64GB of internal storage, offering a balanced experience for multitasking and entertainment.
Commenting on the launch, Lang Guo, country manager, HONOR Bangladesh, said, 'The HONOR X5c is the first smartphone we have launched that is fully produced in Bangladesh. It reflects our commitment to local manufacturing and to delivering reliable, high-quality devices tailored to the needs of Bangladeshi consumers.'
As part of the launch, HONOR has partnered with Grameenphone to offer data benefits for GP users. Customers who purchase the device will receive 5GB of free data with a 7-day validity period. Additional offers include 10GB for seven days at Tk99 and 40GB for 30 days at Tk298.
