Holiday Inn brings ‘Chatgaiya Mezzan’ buffet festival to Dhaka

Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre is set to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Chattogram with a three-day dinner buffet festival, Chatgaiya Mezzan, from July 31 to August 2, 2025, at its signature Attitude Restaurant.

The event pays homage to the time-honoured Mezban traditions of Chattogram—renowned for their bold flavours, festive generosity, and cultural warmth. Guests will be treated to an authentic spread curated by chefs hailing from Chattogram, ensuring hometown expertise on every plate.

Headlining the menu are signature dishes, including Traditional Mezbani Beef, slow-cooked in secret spices, Kala Bhuna, Shutki Bhuna, Lal Shak with Shutki, Chingri Malai Curry, and Charcoal Grilled Fish. A grand finale awaits, featuring sweets such as Shahi Firni, Nawabi Shemai, Gurer Sondesh, Bhaja Puli, and live, crispy Jelabi—perfectly paired with Malai Chayer Adda and Chattogram's beloved Bela Biscuit.

The buffet features over 100 items, including a Deshi Bharta Station with Chingri Shutki, Aloo, Tomato, Kochu Pata, and Mohi Kochu. Live street food stations will offer Fuchka, Mughlai Paratha, Jhal Muri, and Egg Tikka Burgers. Mutton Haleem and Paya with Lassa Paratha and Luchi, Kacchi Biryani, Sharisha Hilsha, Nolar Jhol, Chicken Boti Kebab, and Maskolai round out the feast.

The restaurant's ambiance has been transformed to reflect the vibrant spirit of the port city—with rickshaw art, earthen pots, touches of Foy's Lake and hillscapes, and nods to the iconic Chittagong Red Bull, prompting guests to say, "This feels just like Chatga!"

Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre invites food lovers to experience Chatgaiya Mezzan—a celebration of heritage, hospitality, and homegrown flavour.
