Guardian Life celebrates excellence at annual sales conference 2025

Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) hosted its Annual Sales Conference 2025 on 17 July at Hotel Sea Palace, Cox's Bazar, under the spirited slogan 'Odommo Guardian'.

The event brought together more than 800 sales leaders and financial advisors from across Bangladesh to celebrate the company's milestones and recognise outstanding achievements from the previous year. A total of 15 top performers from 2024 were honoured for their exceptional contributions to Guardian's business growth.

Syed Akthar Hasan Uddin, Director of Guardian, was present as the chief guest. The event also featured senior management, including Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Additional Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (Acting); and Mahmudur Rahman Khan, Chief Retail Business Officer.

A special highlight of the event was a video message from Guardian Co-Founder and Sponsor Tapan Chowdhury. "This conference is not just a gathering; it is a celebration of our hard work, integrity, and success," he said. "Guardian has become a trusted name in the insurance industry by reaching every corner of Bangladesh with a message of protection. I am confident we will continue to overcome challenges and reach new heights."
In his remarks, CEO (Acting) Sheikh Rakibul Karim congratulated the awardees and thanked all participants for their efforts throughout the year. "At Guardian, our people are our greatest strength," he said. "Their commitment and discipline embody the values we strive for as an organisation."

The leadership team also reiterated the company's focus on strategic investments in talent development, training, service innovation, and customer experience to enhance business performance.

The conference featured a full day of activities, including performance review sessions, business planning workshops, a raffle draw, and a cultural evening to conclude the programme.
Guardian Life is jointly owned by Apex, BRAC, and Square Group, whose continued support has played a pivotal role in the company's growth.
