Footsteps arranges special meeting between young cricketers and Tamim
In an initiative aimed at encouraging emerging cricket talent, Footsteps brought together six promising young cricketers from academies in Narayanganj for a special meeting with Bangladesh cricket star Tamim Iqbal.
The event was held at the Scholastica Club.
The young cricketers were invited without knowing about the surprise arranged for them. Later in the evening, they met Tamim Iqbal in person, turning the gathering into a memorable experience for the aspiring players.

As part of the initiative, the young cricketers were also provided with professional gear from CA Sports to support their training and development.
During the interaction, the players spoke about their dream of representing Bangladesh on the international stage and shared the challenges they face in pursuing cricket professionally.
Tamim Iqbal listened to their stories and encouraged them to remain dedicated, disciplined and persistent in their journey as athletes.
Footsteps said the initiative reflects its continued commitment to supporting young talent and creating meaningful opportunities for aspiring athletes across Bangladesh.
The organisation said that by connecting young cricketers with one of the country's most respected sports figures, it hopes to inspire them to continue pursuing their goals despite the challenges they face.
