FBCCI-USET join hands to prepare students for future industries

The University of Skill Enrichment and Technology (USET) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the FBCCI Innovation and Research Centre (FBCCI IRC) to strengthen collaboration in education, research, innovation, and skill development.
Professor Dr Engineer A K M Fazlul Haque, vice-chancellor (designate) of USET, attended the signing ceremony, while Md Jashim Uddin, chairman of FBCCI IRC, and Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, senior vice-chairman of FBCCI IRC, were also present.
Mossarraf Hossain, Registrar of USET, and Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Chief Executive Officer of FBCCI IRC, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
The MoU outlines joint initiatives including research collaborations, industry innovation projects, skill enhancement programmes, internships for outstanding students, and the organisation of seminars, workshops, and training sessions. It also aims to develop joint academic programmes and create platforms to promote entrepreneurship and student engagement in industry-led innovation.
Speakers at the event stated that the collaboration would help bridge the gap between academia and industry, while preparing students with the skills and experience necessary for the future workforce.
They added that the MoU marks a milestone in Bangladesh's preparation for the fifth industrial revolution, where human skills, innovation, and technology converge to create new opportunities.
Through this partnership, USET and FBCCI IRC aim to nurture skilled graduates and future-ready professionals capable of driving Bangladesh's transition to a knowledge-based economy.
