Exim Bank signs MoU with HAAB
Exim Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB). Managing Director (Current Charge) M Akhter Hossain and President of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) Sayed Golam Sarwer signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a signing ceremony held in the HAAB Central Office, Dhaka, on April 17, 2025.
Under the Mou, all Hajj and Umrah pilgrims may deposit their registration fees easily and conveniently through 155 Branches and 73 Sub-Branches of EXIM Bank nationwide.
The programme also included Senior Vice President and head of Shari'ah Secretariat Mohammad Zulkernine, Secretary General of HAAB Farid Ahmed Mazumder, and senior executives of both organisations.
