ESMO to hold 2025 examination at North South University

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) has confirmed that the ESMO Examination 2025 will be conducted at North South University (NSU), Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in Dhaka on 18 October 2025.
The assessment will take place simultaneously worldwide at approved centres from 13:00 to 15:30 CEST.
The Dhaka sitting marks a landmark opportunity for Bangladesh, enabling oncology professionals to sit a globally respected certification without travelling abroad.
The initiative is expected to increase local participation and further strengthen Bangladesh's role in advancing cancer care and medical education.
Regarded as a gold standard of professional competence, the ESMO Examination assesses clinical knowledge and decision-making.
Physicians who pass earn an internationally recognised credential, supporting their contribution to national and global oncology practice.
NSU will administer the exam in line with ESMO's global protocols to ensure transparency, fairness and security.
Examination materials will be handled under confidential procedures and securely dispatched to ESMO headquarters after completion.
