EBL- SQ Group sign payroll banking agreement

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL), the country's leading private commercial bank, recently signed a payroll banking agreement with SQ Group, a top manufacturer of electrical products, at its head office in Dhaka. 

M Khorshed Anowar, DMD and Head of Retail and SME Banking of EBL, and A.Z.M. Monjurul Quader, Chairman of SQ Electricals Ltd. (a concern of SQ Group), signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Under the agreement, SQ Group employees will enjoy a range of EBL-exclusive banking services, including the privilege of accessing dual-currency debit cards, which offer greater convenience for international transactions. They will also benefit from various loan options tailored to their financial needs and a comprehensive selection of other banking perks designed to enhance their economic well-being.

 EBL Head of Business Syed Zulkar Nayen; Head of Payroll Banking Trisha Taklim; SQ Group Director- Sales and Marketing, Abdullah Al Masum; Director- Trading and Planning Golam Samdani, and CFO Mohammod Mamunur Rashid Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
