EBL signs digital payment deal with dgepay
Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has signed an agreement with DGePay, the country's first licensed Payment System Operator (PSO), to facilitate online payment gateway services.
The signing ceremony was held recently at EBL's head office in Dhaka. M Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking of EBL, and Shafquat Matin, Director of DGePay, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Faisal M Fathe-ul Islam, Head of M-Commerce and E-Commerce at EBL, and Md Masuduzzaman, Head of Sales at DGePay, along with senior officials from both sides, were also present on the occasion.

This partnership will significantly enhance secure digital payment solutions, providing businesses with efficient transaction services and fostering a more robust e-commerce ecosystem in Bangladesh.
